Bishop, Dr. Leon Stutzman

Dr. Stutzman is a visionary leader and church planter. He began his ministry at the age of 15 and will be celebrating 40 years of preaching in 2008. Called “Doc” by most of his friends (including the doctors) he has earned Bachelor and Master's degrees in Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry for Vision International College and University. He has planted a number of churches including Christ Cathedral, where he and his wife Connie have served as senior pastors for the last nineteen years. Dr. Stutzman is listed in Who's Who in Religion and has appeared both nationally and locally on Christian television. He is the author of four books, From the Ground Up, Spiritual Gifts, Order out of Chaos, and most recently, Invisible Lines of Supply. Dr. Stutzman serves as a spiritual and practical advisor to a number of churches and pastors, and is a mentor to a number of businesspersons.

Doc loves to laugh, takes a long walk every day with his baby Sky (a hundred and ten pound Doberman-Pinscher), and enjoys life. His messages are full of insight but approachable, seasoned with a sense of humor. There’s always a joke somewhere in the message—often a bad one! Doc and Connie have been married for over thrity-five years and have three grown children (one of whom serves as executive pastor at Christ Cathedral) and three grandchildren—all of whom are spoiled by their grandfather. He plays golf (poorly), enjoys flying (he holds an instrument rating), the before mentioned walks, good food, good people, and fine wine. Doc and Connie share the same interests in books and movies and can often be found at the Cineplex on Saturday afternoon.

Pastor Connie Stutzman

Pastor Connie, aka "PC", has served with her husband as senior pastors of Christ Cathedral, where she oversaw various ministries with a special passion for children's ministry. She founded and continues to lead "Women of Worth", a fellowship group for women. Most recently, "PC" added a chef's hat to the many hats she wears and introduced a monthly small group called "Cookin with Connie".

In addition to serving the congregation, Pastor Connie serves her family. She and Doc have been married for thirty-five years and have the same three grown children and three adorable grandchildren. "PC" has three cats that allow her and Doc to share the house and can often be found walking "Sky" with her husband. Pastor Connie enjoys cooking, decorating, movies, fine dining, and working out. She was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Ministry from Logos Bible College.
